Bil Browning of The Bilerico Project sure found quite a treasure trove!

Big Brother contestant Neil Garcia, one of the two openly gay contestants in the show, has apparently been busy showing off his body (and more?) in his MySpace page. Do these naked gay men photos excite you? Personally, I think they’re blah. We need more nudity, for chrissakes!

The moment I saw this, I knew I had to read on!

So just what is the WPF and what can you expect there? Here’s something from the official WPF website:

Launched in 1994 as a one-time charity dance event on the sands of beautiful South Beach, Winter Party Festival has evolved into a six-day festival benefiting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community on the national and local levels. Over 10,000 guests from all over the United States and abroad attend at least one of the 20 events - including music, fashion, art, comedy and more — that take place in Miami and Miami Beach. The Festival climaxes with the Winter Party Beach Party, a dance event on the sands of South Beach that draws a crowd of more than 5,500 revelers. The 15th Annual Beach Party will be the centerpiece of the 2008 Winter Party Festival. This fabulous celebration, benefitting the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, is also an important fundraiser for the LGBT community. To date, the Festival and its sister event, the Miami Recognition Dinner, have raised over $1.6 million for organizations serving the South Florida LGBT community.

Who’s going?

This piece of news is interesting to me. Reportedly, several gay adult web sites have posted the pictures of teenage boys (some as young as 14 years old) who happen to be water polo players from several high schools in Southern California. The photos were placed next to photos of nude men and graphic sexually explicit content.

The parents of these boys, naturally, along with the coaches and school officials were alarmed and they even claimed that the young boys were traumatized and sought counseling.

International water polo official Joan Gould was even quoted as saying: “These kids don’t look at what they do as shameful…For someone to come in and take what these kids are doing and take it out of context and exploit these images, these kids and their schools, because you can see the school name on the caps, is just horrible.”

Now I know that to be put in such situation is embarrassing but in this world of ever changing technology, do you think this is just a case of overreaction? With people being able to take photos of anything and everything at any time, do you also think that this should just be dismissed as a very bad case of a sleazeball person/suspect looking to earn that quick buck or do you think that this has hit the lowest of lows?

What is it with guys and not taking care of themselves really well? Plus what is it with male celebrities who don’t exert extra effort in keeping themselves presentable in public?

Just take actor Jason Statham, for instance.
